Grief.

Grief is weird! Some days are all 'lah-di-dah' sunshine and tulips. Then other days, the bad days, the days that sneak up on you after a good night's sleep, they're the difficult ones.

As anyone who's experienced it can attest, grief never ends because what's lost can never be returned. The pain doesn't diminish, it doesn't fade or ease or relent; it's ever present and always powerful.

The struggle comes from learning to live with your grief. Learning to go on. Being forced to accept the harsh reality that is life without a loved one.

Grief forces you to grow or wither. Become stronger or shrivel away. Live with the pain or be consumed be it.

Life's a bitch and time's a prick!
